With plenty of production money, eager audiences with imaginations primed by a penchant for sex, violence and perversion Hollywood’s best minds feed both the stable and the dangerously unstable of our society with their poison pabulum. Movies about vampires were followed with cases of people drawing and drinking blood and some lost their lives in the action. Today’s rash of zombie movies has produced three new cases of real zombie incidents across the nation, the most notable being the homeless Florida man whose face was eaten off by his attacker and is now fighting for his life and in need of a $200,000 surgery help him to recover. This is reprobation.

Nature has many meanings. Nature can mean wilderness, as in an area of undeveloped land populated with wild animals and plants. Keeping tracts in a natural state is a land-use strategy critical in maintaining high land values, rents, and agricultural prices. Nature can also mean the inherent quality of a thing. Inheritors justify their wealth by pointing to inherent virtues of their lineage. At the confluence of these “natures” are the inbred dynasts of the landed estate who justify their privileges with references to the genetic nature and who defend their fortunes by preserving nature. Such naturalists were at the center of the fascism and are at the centre of the environmentalism.

Unlike their fascist forbearers, environmentalists are cautious about preaching abolition of democracy. However, they are not shy about practising abolition of democracy. In every western country they have created parallel governance. This diarchy is achieved by appropriating state resources and integrating them with movement-controlled state-like entities in the private sector. Their most visible achievements are the imperious “Environmental” ministries they conjured at all levels of government in the 1970s. These are supplemented by a myriad of agencies and sub-departments involved in enviro-regulation. Then there is the deliberately inscrutable jumble of quasi-government tribunals and councils conjoined to thousands of environmentalist non-governmental organizations. The upshot is government policies regarding land and water use, fisheries and wildlife, forestry and mining, energy and climate, culture and education, etc. are drafted and implemented by unelected, unaccountable, and largely unknown people. Если подумать о символах, отражавших дух Франции, то мы увидим последовательную за 200 лет деградацию.
Наполеон, угрожавший Британии император, Наполеон III (украшенный нелепой бородой с усами - хиппи) уже в кильватере Англии в Крымской кампании, к Первой мировой войне Франция в кризисе - символ - Клемансо - "Тигр" - персонаж водевиля, хотя бы забавный, Вторая мировая - Виши, Петэн, герой минувшей войны, коллаборант, символ отказа от первородства в пользу Германии, после войны- ввезенный (из Англии!) ДеГолль, вообще непонятно кто такой - блестяще и почти документально представлен в фильме Осимы "Макс, любовь моя" с Рэмплинг, дальше череда более-менее успешных управленцев - от Помпиду до Саркози... И финал - плешивая крыса с козлиным голосом и нелепой фамилией. Франция ПОТЕРЯЛА ЛИЦО! Суверенитет она потеряла во Второй мировой войне и навсегда.
Кстати, МАССОВЫЙ коллаборационизм во Второй мировой войне в пользу Германии- почти 100% - тема-табу.
Именно Петэн отражал чаяния реальной Франции, а не выдуманной на БиБиСи.
И если осимовский Макс - это Де Голль,
то Олланд - это смешная крыса из детского (и для впавших в детство) фильма "Рататуй".

One rarely heard from Strong after he hightailed it to China in the aftermath of the United Nations Oil for Food scandal.  A country, according to Strong’s own words,  graced by his presence at least 50 percent of the time.

Large territories and large numbers of people are very difficult to govern. Structures tend to break down and people further away from the centers of power don’t listen to the boys at the top. The only way to make a going proposition of it is to consolidate as much power as possible at the center and the very act of centralizing power leads to tyranny.

The most direct chokehold possible is physical. China’s rulers, faced with vast territory and population, turned to the water empire. The modern West is quickly rediscovering a more sophisticated form of hydraulic despotism, cloaked in talk of saving the planet and providing for everyone’s needs.

When the term “sustainable” is used to sell a product, the product will be more expensive and less efficient than it has to be. When the term “sustainable” is used to sell a public policy, the policy will not only be more expensive and less efficient, it will be controlled by the government, and it will ultimately fail.
